Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Foundry Supervisor with strong Maintenance and Electrical skills to lead our casting operations. In this role, you will oversee daily foundry activities, ensure safety compliance, and drive process improvements to optimize production efficiency. Your expertise in mechanical systems, electrical maintenance, and factory operations will be essential in maintaining a high-performing team and a safe working environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate foundry production activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards and production schedules. Lead maintenance efforts for electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and foundry infrastructure to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and process specifications to support quality control and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage assembly line operations, including heavy lifting, mechanical assembly, and the use of power tools and hand tools. Conduct regular safety audits, enforce safety protocols, and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Utilize measuring instruments and technical proficiency to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions promptly. Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflow, reducing waste through lean manufacturing principles, and optimizing resource utilization. Manage warehouse activities related to raw materials, finished goods, and spare parts inventory using warehouse experience skills. Train team members on proper use of equipment, safety procedures, and manufacturing best practices. Requirements Proven experience supervising foundry or manufacturing operations within a factory environment. Strong electrical maintenance skills with the ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and assembly techniques. Familiarity with factory safety standards, lean manufacturing principles, and process improvement methodologies. Ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards. Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is preferred. Excellent manual handling skills for heavy lifting tasks associated with casting processes. Strong organizational skills with the ability to interpret production documents and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
