Job Description
Job Overview Oversee the maintenance, repair, and management of industrial and mechanical systems within our facilities. Possess strong leadership abilities, extensive technical knowledge, and a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and maintenance procedures. This role involves supervising maintenance teams, managing maintenance operations, and ensuring all equipment functions efficiently and safely to support ongoing production and integrity within our facility. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and manage maintenance teams, ensuring effective coordination and execution of maintenance activities. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to optimize equipment uptime. Oversee the repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical systems and other industrial equipment. Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting guides to diagnose issues accurately. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training sessions, and maintaining a safe work environment. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and safety procedures in accordance with company policies. Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or system upgrades as needed. Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies essential for maintenance operations; oversee procurement processes. Enforce maintenance repair procedures and safety protocols across the team to uphold high standards of quality and safety. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and respond to problems in a timely manner. Training maintenance staff in procedures and best practices. Coordinating with other departments to optimize performance and output. Supervisory Responsibilities This position manages employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the department. Education and/or Experience Proven management experience in industrial maintenance environments with supervisory responsibilities. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment systems Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and regulations related to industrial maintenance. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation purposes. Strong communication skills in English to effectively lead teams and liaise with stakeholders. Experience with maintenance management software or automated systems is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance environments. Leadership and team management capabilities, including training and performance evaluation. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
