Job Description

Summary:
Maroon Pickett Fence LLC, dba Blue Ribbon Property Management manages over 700 doors across the Bryan/College Station and surrounding area. If you can manage a busy department and work as a team player then we are looking for YOU! We have an immediate opening for the right person to lead our maintenance team and coordinate daily work flow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department. Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities and process work assignments. Communicate directly with service providers, vendors, and maintenance contractors to schedule repairs, servicing, preventive maintenance, and other projects required to keep the owners assets running smoothly. Hires contractors or subcontractors to perform maintenance work to specialized or extensive to be performed by the maintenance staff. Establishes and maintains a reliable network of outside vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely support of the maintenance function. Scheduling and managing work orders. Assign tasks to workers, coordinate them, and ensure completion of work. Support technicians and take care of maintenance daily logs. Provide a wide variety of administrative assistance to managers, especially in the areas of managing work orders and tenant communications. Assist in oversee inventory management. Monitor usage of tools/equipment and ensure they are readily available. Communicate effectively with anyone Manage the work order process effectively Handle Emergencies General understanding how a maintenance strategy will impact maintenance operations and the organization. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Real Estate / Property Management experience
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Assist in supervising maintenance staff Works with 3rd party to assist in coordinating work flow.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required - Electrical or HVAC Certification a plus. Three (3) years of maintenance experience Excellent analytical and reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills required. Excellent Time Management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pay according to experience. This is an in office position with the hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm located in College Station, TX.
