Job Description

The Maintenance Lead at Brask Inc. is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations in the heat exchanger fabrication shop. •Pay is based on relevant experience & will be determined during or after an interview• Key duties include:
Supervision :
Coordinate maintenance activities for various equipment (e.g., CNC machines, overhead cranes, pumps) ensuring efficiency, safety, and minimal downtime.
Preventive Maintenance :
Develop and enforce a PM program for equipment, ensuring regular inspections, lubrication, and adjustments.
Specific Equipment Maintenance :
Oversee the upkeep of overhead cranes, CNC machines, vertical boring machines, welding positioners, high-pressure pumps/lines, and electrical systems.
Troubleshooting & Repairs :
Lead efforts in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize disruptions.
Electrical Qualifications:
Requires a recognized electrical certification or licensure (e.g., journeyman electrician) or equivalent hands-on electrical experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Must demonstrate the ability to safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment, including CNC machinery, welding equipment, and facility power systems, in compliance with applicable safety standards.
Safety and Compliance :
Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety regulations and standards.
Team Leadership :
Train and manage the maintenance team, ensuring they are skilled and proficient in equipment maintenance.
Inventory & Documentation :
Manage spare parts inventory and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
Continuous Improvement :
Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Collaboration :
Work with production and engineering teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve equipment issues affecting fabrication. This role requires effective maintenance management, team leadership, safety, and collaboration with other teams to maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
