This is a varied, hands-on position that is approximately two-thirds office and customer-facing responsibilities and one-third property maintenance . The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong sales and organizational skills, and is also comfortable working outdoors and handling general maintenance tasks. Office, Sales & Property Management - Approximately 2/3 of the Position Rent storage units and assist customers throughout the rental and move-in process Generate sales through phone calls, walk-ins, follow-up, and customer outreach Provide excellent customer service and build strong, long-term customer relationships Handle collections and follow-up on delinquent accounts Process payments and assist customers with account questions and changes Assist with marketing efforts to generate new rentals and maintain strong occupancy Monitor available units and work to maximize occupancy and revenue Handle general office and administrative responsibilities Maintain accurate customer and property records Use computer systems and software for daily operations Assist customers with Penske truck rentals located at the facility Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members Property Maintenance - Approximately 1/3 of the Position Maintain the property in a clean, safe, and well-maintained condition Perform routine property inspections and general grounds upkeep Assist with basic repairs and maintenance throughout the facility Help maintain buildings, storage areas, fencing, gates, landscaping, and other property components Perform tasks that may include lifting, moving materials, and using basic hand and small power tools Identify maintenance issues and report larger repairs or concerns when necessary Qualifications The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working both in an office environment and performing hands-on maintenance work . Strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are important. Candidates should be comfortable with sales and collections while also being willing and able to perform physical maintenance duties.
