Bring your leadership skills to a role where you support families and businesses who have experienced property emergencies. Drive the growth, development, and financial success of the mitigation business, its staff, and operations. Team Leadership & Staff Management Supervise and delegate tasks to mitigation and contents staff. Recruit, train, and coach crew leaders, coordinators, and labor. Set measurable goals and conduct 90-day, mid-year, and annual reviews. Approve weekly timecards for hourly employees. Lead monthly meetings to maintain morale, alignment, and urgency. Onboard subcontractors and ensure strict vendor compliance. Resource & Asset Management Manage warehouse inventory and equipment tracking across jobsites. Coordinate fleet maintenance and dispatch schedules. Oversee technician dispatching and the team's on-call rotation. Evaluate staffing needs based on current and projected workload. Financial & Estimate Management Write and review accurate mitigation loss estimates. Negotiate claims directly with insurance carriers. Budget and track financial metrics to hit a 50% margin goal. Secure profit goals by managing job costs and production efficiency. Collect payments and manage outstanding accounts receivable. Relationship Management & Safety Build strong relationships with adjusters, vendors, and clients. Resolve client complaints through proactive auditing and service. Enforce safety rules including proper PPE and hazard monitoring. Promote services to industry professionals and potential clients. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Write precise estimates using software like Xactimate to determine the cost of damage repairs. Operate software systems like RMS and communicate with insurance carriers. Create invoices, manage documents, and handle payroll or compliance. Coach and lead a staff of up to twenty people. Possess deep knowledge of emergency property repairs (like water or fire damage). Run effective meetings and ensure your team meets profit goals. Communicate and converse with customers and staff over the phone and face to face Stay calm and have composure during stressful emergencies. Handle private customer and business data securely
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required Two plus years' experience in a Management or Leadership role within the Restoration Industry Five plus years' experience within the Emergency Services Department within the Restoration Industry Experience with writing Emergency Services (Mitigation) estimates Physical Requirement Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 50% of the time This role frequently moves about client's properties to complete estimates and oversee completion of jobs Occasionally will lift up to 50lbs Ability to safely operate a company vehicle Make an impact now : Since 1966, Paul Davis has been serving people in their time of need when facing disaster and having their worst day.
