The Facilities Manager performs and supervises tasks related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, environmental, safety, custodial and event coordination. This position requires a team player attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to details and project coordination. The Facilities Manager has a clear understanding of acceptable business practices in relationship to church teachings, and reverence for the sacred and holy nature of our ministry. The Facilities Manager has the ability to collaborate with and support the Pastor, Principal, parish staff, and parishioners. Responsibilities Manages and performs all work related to the maintenance of OLMC Complex buildings including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, custodial and security of the parish/school. Maintains equipment on OLMC Complex grounds by closely monitoring equipment and completing necessary testing as required. Also maintains accurate records of all maintenance repairs. Performs repairs as needed. Leads an effective, efficient maintenance team to perform reliable and timely service with cost as a variable. Develops and manages the facility work order system. Assigns tasks to appropriate team member(s). Works with PPBC to develop a strategic plan to update and maintain all facilities. Oversees and provides event coordination. Ensures proper scheduling of facilities for set up and take down for meetings, events, worship, weddings, funerals and otherwise as directed. Keeps buildings safe by making sure they meet building code requirements. Works with Business Manager, Pastor and Principal to report problems, solutions and associated costs. Promotes a positive team attitude with employees and volunteers. Develops, oversees and may assist teams of volunteers providing OLMC Complex maintenance services such as cleaning, painting and landscaping. Oversees contractors and vendors as they relate to maintenance/renovations/building projects. Develops and maintains a relationship with all contractors and vendors ensuring efficient facility operations. Implement procedures for handling, storing, safekeeping, and destruction of hazardous materials. Maintain OLMC Complex MSDS system. Works with Business Manager to manage annual facility budget. Assists OLMC Complex IT department when a change needs to be made requiring a change to facilities. Regularly inspects OLMC Complex properties for areas of concern. Provides general carpentry on OLMC Complex properties as needed. Provides lawn maintenance and landscaping as needed. Serves as primary contact for facility related emergencies, which may require evening and weekend work. Provide the necessary coverage for evening and weekend Masses, functions and activities. Reviews and approves requisitions for custodial, building and maintenance supplies and materials.

From $48,000.00 per year
