You will work closely with operations, engineering, and maintenance leadership to improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, and create a safe, high-performing work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead and develop electrical maintenance personnelImprove equipment reliability through predictive and preventive maintenance programsSupport troubleshooting and resolution of electrical and mechanical equipment issuesDrive safety, environmental, quality, and operational excellence initiativesPartner with operations to minimize downtime and maximize plant performanceCoach and develop employees through training, mentoring, and hands-on leadershipSupport continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, and root cause failure analysisMonitor performance metrics and implement action plans to achieve business objectivesManage routine maintenance activities, work execution, and reliability improvementsParticipate in outage planning, major repairs, and capital improvement projects What We're Looking For Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field OR HS Diploma/GED and 5+ years of job-related work experience in lieu of degree. 3+ years of leadership experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, steel, metals, mining, pulp and paper, chemical processing, power generation, or related heavy industryExperience leading electrical maintenance or reliability teamsKnowledge of predictive, preventive, and reliability-centered maintenance practicesExperience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, motors, drives, controls, and power distribution equipmentStrong leadership, communication, and employee development skillsAbility to build relationships across maintenance, operations, and engineering teams Preferred Experience with overhead cranes, utilities, mobile equipment, substations, switchyards, HVAC systems, or industrial environmental systemsExperience with CMMS systems such as SAP, Maximo, or similar platformsExperience in steel manufacturing or other heavy industrial environments Leadership Opportunity This is primarily a day-shift leadership position with off-hours support for critical maintenance activities, outages, and operational emergencies.
