Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Suffolk, VA area! This is a THIRD shift role with a 2, 2, 3 schedule of 12's

Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily activities for Maintenance Mechanics and Instrument Technicians, ensuring accurate work order, labor, and parts tracking in the CMMS. Develop and oversee maintenance schedules to support timely repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance completion. Minimize equipment downtime by proactively addressing maintenance priorities and reliability issues. Partner with Operations, Production, and Facilities teams to prioritize maintenance activities and support plant performance. Communicate maintenance updates, timelines, and operational impacts while supporting continuous improvement efforts. Establish team goals, priorities, and performance expectations to drive safe and efficient operations. Ensure quality execution of maintenance work, adherence to standard procedures, and timely response to unplanned equipment issues. Train, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel while promoting a strong culture of safety and accountability. Maintain preventive maintenance programs and analyze equipment issues to recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with Engineering on capital projects, equipment upgrades, and replacement initiatives. Prepare maintenance reports and operational metrics to support performance tracking and decision-making. Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with Production, Quality, Safety, and Engineering teams to improve plant reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:

3+ years supervisory experience in industrial manufacturing experience Proficiency with CMMS systems, including creating, managing, and closing maintenance work orders. Experience with TPM, preventive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance programs. Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automation systems, including PLCs and HMIs. Understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance requirements. Ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation, including rotating shift schedules. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications; Power BI experience preferred. Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives. Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach, mentor, and develop teams. Ability to influence, collaborate, and drive results through effective communication and delegation. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and support hands-on troubleshooting when needed.
