Your role and responsibilities:
Job Summary - We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and develop our maintenance team in a high-tech manufacturing environment in Hartland, Wisconsin. This role will be responsible for building a structured, proactive maintenance program that improves equipment reliability, supports safe and efficient production, and reduces unplanned downtime. The ideal candidate is a hands-on people leader who can strengthen preventive maintenance, work-order planning, CMMS utilization, and performance tracking while partnering closely with production, engineering, and outside contractors. Safely and productively maintain all production equipment to ensure its consistent and optimum working order to meet production needs. Maintain and improve the building's structure, facility equipment/machinery and systems. Manage and coordinate activities of the maintenance team and outside contractors by implementing and utilizing a structured work order system. Develop, implement, and manage a preventive maintenance and inventory program which will reduce machine breakdowns and downtime. Establish KPI metrics and use them to measure maintenance and machine performance, make informed decisions, and drive continuous improvement. Work with the engineering team and production supervisors on new and existing equipment and a variety of other capital improvement projects. What is required for this role: Experience in an equivalent role. Associate or bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical or related engineering discipline. A talented, effective leader with experience building and motivating a maintenance team and creating a structured workflow system and cross training program. Has successfully implemented a CMMS. Has established maintenance KPI metrics and used them to drive continuous improvement. Has managed both internal employees and external contractors. Has automated manufacturing experience. Background in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, tool and die, machining, pneumatics, electronics, gas, metal fab, welding, and hydraulics. Building and grounds maintenance experience. Experience with managing assets, capital improvements and engineering projects. SAP experience What about you?
