Job Description
Wear all required safety equipment including but not limited to steel-toed boots, hardhats, safety glasses, safety harness, ear plugs, dust masks and gloves Able to do repetitious arm, hand and leg motion to maintain/grease equipment, sweeping, chipping guns, shoveling and re-bag bag-houses bags for extended periods of time Lift up to 100 lbs of weight properly Climb ladders and stairways several times per shift Ability to do bending, kneeling and twisting in confined spaces and awkward positions for extended periods of time to maintain equipment Work at heights with required safety equipment without restrictions Work in inclement weather when required or assigned Required and predictable attendance Work weekends, nights, call outs, overtime, shift work and holidays as needed Operate a fork lift Knowledge of lube truck preferred Performs duties unassisted Troubleshoot equipment/hydraulics for the DC- Lube department Read, write and communicate clearly for documentation and internal/external customer relations now and follow all company safety procedures and policies; including but not limited to lock out tag out procedure Satisfactorily complete the training requirements as set forth by Salt River Materials Group Check and maintain dust collection equipment and lubricate said equipment on a daily basis Report any problems to maintenance supervisor, lead persons or planning department Clean out dust collectors, draft and sweep pipes Make repairs to facilitate changing of dust bags, injector pipes, diaphragms, venture and lubrication repairs Keep work areas clean and safe Store oil and grease in proper containers Furnish and maintain basic hand tools as per required tool list Check and maintain proper lubrication levels, change lubricants and filters (air and oil) as required Maintain records Perform cleanup in work and shop areas Operate lube truck Available for call-out and overtime during unscheduled work hours as needed Perform any other assigned work incidental to this classification
