You will be responsible for ensuring peak operational efficiency, minimizing waste, and driving continuous improvement through proactive equipment maintenance and technical troubleshooting. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve mechanical malfunctions to maintain consistent production output and quality standards. Execute precise machine adjustments and minor changeovers to enhance performance and reduce operational downtime. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to replace components before failure, ensuring a safe and reliable work environment. Monitor production metrics and utilize PC-based systems to accurately document downtime and daily output data. Collaborate with cross-functional team members to streamline hand-offs and uphold rigorous quality control protocols. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and obtain certification for specialized equipment like scissor lifts to support facility operations. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a machine operation or industrial maintenance role. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and solve problems independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team coordination. Preferred Skills Prior experience in paper converting or high-speed packaging environments. Demonstrated proficiency in reading technical specifications and quality inspection sheets. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-decibel manufacturing setting while maintaining focus on safety and precision.
