Job Summary WFQ Inc. has an immediate opening with one of our customers in Madison Heights for an Installation Technician joins an established two-person installation crew as the third member, assisting in the transportation, assembly, and installation of pallet rack and other industrial storage systems at customer sites. This is a hands-on, physically active field role for a mechanically inclined worker who is dependable, safety-focused, and willing to learn from experienced team members.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour to start.
Hours:
40-45 hours per week (standard) Key Responsibilities Assist the installation crew in transporting, unloading, assembling, and installing pallet rack and other industrial storage systems at customer sites. Perform heavy-duty industrial installation work in a range of environments (e.g., automotive, tooling, and manufacturing facilities). Safely operate fork trucks and aerial/scissor lifts (certification provided or required — see below). Follow direction from the crew lead and work cooperatively as part of a small team. Load and secure tools, equipment, and materials for transport to and from job sites. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and OSHA safety practices. Properly use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE), hand tools, and power tools. Operate ladders safely to access elevated work areas during outdoor installations Provide excellent customer service by explaining system features and ensuring customer satisfaction after installation Experience Proven experience working installation of pallet rack and other industrial storage systems at customer sites unloading, assembling, and installing pallet rack and other industrial storage systems at customer sites.
Pay:
