Previous in-store experience at The UPS Store is strongly preferred. Candidates who have previously worked at a UPS Store and are already familiar with UPS Store procedures, POS systems, shipping software, packing, printing, mailbox services, Amazon returns, UPS shipping, and customer service are highly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to every customer Operate The UPS Store POS/register and computer systems Process UPS domestic and international shipments Assist customers with UPS shipping, FedEx shipping, USPS shipping, and other carrier services Package and properly prepare boxes, packages, fragile items, artwork, electronics, and other shipments Perform professional packing and shipping services Measure, weigh, label, and process packages Prepare shipping labels, commercial invoices, customs documentation, and international shipping paperwork Process Amazon returns and other online retailer returns Assist with Amazon Hub/return services when applicable Manage and assist customers with private mailbox services and mailbox rentals Receive, organize, and distribute customer packages and mail Process mail forwarding and mailbox-related services Provide printing, copying, scanning, faxing, laminating, binding, shredding, and document services Operate commercial printers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment Assist customers with document printing, business cards, flyers, brochures, signs, posters, labels, and other print projects Answer phones and respond to customer questions professionally Handle customer transactions, payments, refunds, and receipts Maintain accurate cash drawer and register procedures Keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and professional Stock shipping supplies, boxes, packaging materials, and retail merchandise Maintain proper organization of customer packages and shipments Follow all UPS, The UPS Store, shipping, safety, security, and company procedures Assist with opening and closing the store Perform daily cleaning and general store maintenance Resolve customer concerns and provide solutions in a professional manner Promote additional The UPS Store products and services Meet customer service and store performance expectations Work effectively in a fast-paced retail, shipping, printing, and business services environment Preferred Experience Strong preference will be given to candidates with previous experience working inside a The UPS Store location.
