Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Full-Time | 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Position Summary NC Filtration is seeking an experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure maximum uptime and safe operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background, experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of industrial equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Diagnose equipment failures and perform timely corrective repairs to minimize downtime. Install, modify, and maintain production equipment and machinery. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals. Repair or replace motors, bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, sensors, switches, valves, and other machine components. Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, including wiring, motors, relays, contactors, and control circuits. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders. Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain compliance with company safety policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform other maintenance duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Multi-craft maintenance experience with mechanical and electrical systems required. Experience troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment. Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to use diagnostic equipment and a variety of hand and power tools. Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work from ladders, platforms, and elevated work areas when required. Frequent use of hand and power tools. Ability to work safely around operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
