Job Description
Installation Technician - Bulk Propane Delivery Truck Equipment Amthor International is seeking motivated, dependable individuals to join our installation team. We are looking for candidates with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to learn a specialized trade installing bulk propane tanks and related equipment on commercial delivery trucks. Job Duties Install bulk propane tanks and associated components on commercial delivery trucks. Read and interpret instructional manuals, blueprints, and work orders. Measure accurately using tape measures and other precision measuring tools. Assemble, fit, and secure mechanical components to exact specifications. Operate standard hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Welding skills required, or ability to learn basic welding skills. Inspect completed installations for quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Meet production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn new skills quickly. Experience using standard hand and power tools. Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Basic welding experience or willingness to develop welding skills. Ability to read and follow technical instructions and installation manuals. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Good time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Dependable attendance. Manufacturing, automotive, diesel, fabrication, construction, or equipment assembly experience is a plus but not required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the workday. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
