Portland Tractor is an integral entity of Leavitt Industrial Group. The Opportunity Portland Tractor Inc. is looking for a Dismantler to join our team in Washougal, Washington . As the Dismantler you will safely dismantle heavy equipment using hand and power tools, rigging equipment, and lifting gear. Essential Duties & Responsibilities As the Dismantler your key responsibilities will include: Dismantle heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner Follow safety rules and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures Wear required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as needed Use rigging equipment and lifting gear to safely remove and transport components Use pin presses, hammers and jacks to remove attachments and frames from machinery Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times Communicate with management on job completion and assignments Required Skills & Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies: Prior experience in equipment service and maintenance is strongly preferred Enrollment in or completion of a trade or vocational school considered an asset Must own hand and power tools needed to complete machine dismantling tasks Strong mechanical ability Ability to follow factory processes for dismantling equipment Strong mechanical ability A willingness to complete required training Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed High school diploma or equivalent required Benefits & Perks Portland Tractor Inc. is proud to offer competitive compensation and flexible benefits coverage for all eligible employees: Company-matched 401K contributions Comprehensive and competitive medical health care plan Medical benefits and extended health service coverage Prescription drug coverage Dental plan and vision plan Telehealth plan with MDLive Life insurance and disability insurance Employee assistance programs Ongoing professional development and training opportunities The base pay range for this role is: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience. This is an onsite role based in Washougal, Washington.
