Job Description

Since 1986, Advanced Refrigeration & Air has been a leader in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning. Based in Orlando, Florida, our family-owned company operates across five locations in the state. For almost 40 years, we have provided top-tier service to grocery retailers, restaurants, and businesses throughout Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. We are currently hiring skilled Service Technicians. We are hiring skilled Service Technicians with expertise in Commercial HVAC, Supermarket, and Rack Refrigeration. If you excel in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, we want you to join our Sarasota/Venice team!
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, display cases, and HVAC units. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as coil cleaning, filter replacement, and refrigerant level checks. Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with precision. Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems early and enhance equipment efficiency. Accurately document maintenance and repair activities. Communicate effectively with clients to provide excellent service and address their needs. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Ability to work on-call and rotating shifts. Capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Clean driving record and valid driver's license. EPA Universal Certification for refrigerant handling. Strong experience with commercial refrigeration systems and troubleshooting. Proficient in using specialized diagnostic and repair tools. Knowledgeable in electrical and mechanical systems. Physically able to lift heavy equipment and work in varied environments.
