Fire Extinguisher Service Center, a division of Northwest Fire Inc, is a family-owned and operated business serving the Oregon and Southwest Washington communities for over 60 years. We serve the commercial and residential customers, functioning as a single-point-of-contact for all their fire-life systems and protection needs, including products and services to protect their premises and compliance with property insurance providers, local, state, federal codes and regulations. Responsibilities We are seeking a full-time experienced Shop Forman professional to join and lead our growing team as a Shop Forman/Manager . The ideal candidate will be an experienced technician, a hands-on leader and contributor, playing a key role in delivering on our service promise to our technicians in the field, supporting/mentoring and training our shop team members. The candidate will be pivotal in ensuring that fire protection equipment is properly serviced, calibrated and in compliance with applicable local, state and federal code. Oversee and support the vehicle fleet. General Duties Perform fire extinguisher testing, repair and re-charging covering internal cylinder inspections, hydrostatic testing, and pressurization/depressurization as required Conduct and oversee inspection of fire extinguishers/cylinders preparation in the shop in accordance with
