We serve the commercial and residential customers, functioning as a single-point-of-contact for all their fire-life systems and protection needs, including products and services to protect their premises and compliance with property insurance providers, local, state, federal codes and regulations. Responsibilities We are seeking a full-time experienced Shop Forman professional to join and lead our growing team as a Shop Forman/Manager . The ideal candidate will be an experienced technician, a hands-on leader and contributor, playing a key role in delivering on our service promise to our technicians in the field, supporting/mentoring and training our shop team members. The candidate will be pivotal in ensuring that fire protection equipment is properly serviced, calibrated and in compliance with applicable local, state and federal code. Oversee and support the vehicle fleet. General Duties Perform fire extinguisher testing, repair and re-charging covering internal cylinder inspections, hydrostatic testing, and pressurization/depressurization as required Conduct and oversee inspection of fire extinguishers/cylinders preparation in the shop in accordance with

NFPA 10, NFPA

17/17A and

UL 300, NFPA

96, and other standards as may be designated Oversee the preparation and stating of equipment/tooling for field personnel as needed Oversee and perform periodic equipment calibrations and maintenance as needed Oversee and provide guidance, mentorship, and training opportunities to team members Assist with the coordination of equipment for daily work assignments supporting Field Services and Repair/Installation Teams Develop and implement procedures and protocols for shop operations and staff training Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, schematics, and operational product manuals to assist internal team members and external customers for their fire equipment needs Oversee with procurement and inventory management Oversee fleet operations and management Work and develop a collaborative team environment, provide stellar service to walk-in customers Consult and advise customers regarding potential fire safety of their equipment Other general duties and responsibilities may be assigned Compensation package including: Aggressively competitive compensation, depending on experience.
