We're looking for a part-time e-bike mechanic to join our team at our Claremont and Ontario stores, primarily to cover repair and assembly work and fill in on staff days off. There's opportunity to grow into a full-time position as our store's needs expand. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on bicycle or e-bike repair experience who takes pride in quality work and has solid customer service skills. Schedule Part-time, covering staff days off and repair workload as needed.
Store hours:
Tuesday-Saturday 10:30 AM
  • 6:00 PM, Sunday 10:30 AM
  • 4:00 PM, Monday closed. Exact days and hours are flexible based on your availability. Pay $18
  • 20 per hour, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities Assemble, diagnose, repair, and maintain e-bikes Perform routine tune-ups, brake and gear adjustments, and battery/motor system checks Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service on the shop floor when needed Keep the service area organized, clean, and stocked with needed parts Communicate repair timelines and recommendations clearly to customers Follow company policies and safety procedures Qualifications Previous experience as a bicycle or e-bike mechanic preferred Strong knowledge of bicycle or e-bike repair, assembly, and maintenance Comfortable working with electrical components (batteries, motors, controllers), or willing to learn Good communication and customer service skills Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented Flexible availability, including weekends About Us Riding 5 Electric Bikes has multiple locations throughout Southern California and continues to grow.
