We are looking for someone who is comfortable diagnosing problems, making repairs, and working independently in the field. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with irrigation systems, landscape maintenance, and general landscape repairs and can determine the cause of a problem rather than simply replacing parts. This position will primarily focus on irrigation troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and additional landscape work , but you must also be willing to assist our landscape maintenance crews when needed. We are especially interested in someone who has worked in the landscape industry for several years and is looking for an opportunity to take on more responsibility and grow with a company. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair irrigation system problems Troubleshoot valves, solenoids, wiring, controllers, sprinklers, drip systems, and other irrigation components Identify leaks, broken lines, pressure problems, poor coverage, and other system issues Repair and replace irrigation valves, lateral lines, main lines, sprinkler heads, nozzles, fittings, and related components Program, adjust, and troubleshoot irrigation controllers Perform basic electrical troubleshooting related to irrigation systems Install and modify irrigation systems as needed Perform irrigation inspections and system checks Make recommendations when irrigation systems require repairs, upgrades, or modifications Safely perform digging and excavation required for repairs and installations Assist with planting, soil preparation, sod, mulch, drainage, and other landscape improvement projects Assist landscape maintenance crews when needed Safely operate hand tools, power tools, landscape equipment, and machinery appropriate to the position Communicate professionally with supervisors, crew members, property managers, homeowners, and clients Document completed repairs and report additional issues found on a property Maintain a clean and organized work area and company vehicle Qualifications Previous professional landscape and/or irrigation experience strongly preferred Strong irrigation troubleshooting and repair skills Working knowledge of irrigation valves, controllers, wiring, sprinkler systems, and drip irrigation Ability to diagnose problems and determine appropriate repairs General knowledge of landscape maintenance practices Comfortable using hand tools and power equipment Ability to perform physical outdoor work throughout the workday Ability to work independently and as part of a crew Dependable, punctual, and able to communicate clearly Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred Experience with commercial properties, HOAs, high-end residential properties, irrigation controllers, two-wire systems, wire tracing, and irrigation electrical diagnostics is a plus.
