Role Description The Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Denver, CO, responsible for maintaining and repairing residential and commercial properties within the Performance Property Management portfolio. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, completing work orders for maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting building systems, and coordinating with property managers to prioritize service needs. The Technician will handle basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance, ensuring that units and common areas are safe, functional, and well-presented. The role also involves communicating with residents and vendors in a professional manner, documenting work performed, and following company procedures and safety standards. This position requires a hands-on, reliable individual who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Qualifications Strong general maintenance skills, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC troubleshooting. Ability to read and follow work orders, maintenance schedules, and safety guidelines, with solid problem-solving and diagnostic abilities. Effective communication and customer service skills for interacting with residents, property managers, and vendors in a professional manner. Reliable time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and complete work with minimal supervision. Comfort working on-site, including lifting, climbing ladders, and performing physical tasks in various weather conditions. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in building maintenance or related trades are preferred. Previous experience in property maintenance, building services, or a similar technician role is highly beneficial. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between properties as needed.
