Led by Dr. Alma Regnault , our practice is built around personalized patient care, exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming environment for both our patients and our team. As our practice continues to grow, we're looking for an energetic, dependable, and personable Optometric Technician / Optical Sales Associate who wants more than just a job. We're looking for someone who wants to learn, grow, and become an important part of our team . Our practice offers exposure to many areas of modern optometry, including comprehensive eye care, contact lenses, optical sales, dry eye treatments, and myopia management . What You'll Do This is a cross-trained position , so we're looking for someone comfortable learning and working in different areas of the practice.

Responsibilities may include:

Pre-testing patients and assisting with patient flow Providing friendly and professional patient support Assisting patients with frame selection and optical sales Performing or learning contact lens insertion and removal training Scheduling appointments and assisting with front-desk responsibilities Verifying and understanding vision insurance benefits Assisting with vision insurance and billing processes Working within RevolutionEHR Maintaining organized patient records and work areas Supporting the doctor, optician, and other team members as needed A licensed optician credential is not required for this position. Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish , highly organized, dependable, comfortable interacting with patients, and genuinely enjoys working as part of a team. Previous optometry, optical, vision insurance, contact lens, or medical-office experience is a plus, but we're especially interested in finding someone with the right personality, work ethic, and willingness to learn . Because we're a small, family-owned practice, teamwork is extremely important. We're looking for someone who is willing to cross-train, help where needed, take initiative, and grow alongside the practice. Schedule & Benefits This is primarily a Monday through Friday position with no regular evening hours . Our office includes a one-hour lunch break from 1:00-2:00 PM .
