Hiawatha, IA Job Details Part-time 1 hour ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Driving Full Job Description Ag Tech Student Service Technician• Job Function Participates in on-the-job training, performing basic repairs of equipment under the direction the Service Manager, Shop Foreman or Senior Technicians. Maintains professional communication with all company locations to insure information flows in an appropriate manner. Essential Duties 1. Performs basic service tasks as assigned by Service Manager or Shop Foreman. 2. Develops skills in removal, disassembly, and reconditioning of components. 3. Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments. 4. Participates in Service Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge. 5. Assists Senior Technicians as required. 6. Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment. 7. Performs pre-delivery set up and inspection on new equipment as required. 8. Keeps work areas clean and organized and practices good safety habits. 9. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Safety Sensitive Position Ag Tech Student Service Technician - Skills & Qualifications Good knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of outdoor power equipment/agricultural equipment. Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Good skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Good driving record and safety habits.
