Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Technician to join our team and drive excellence in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair within industrial and manufacturing environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience to ensure optimal operation of complex machinery and systems. As a Service Technician, you will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability across various industrial processes. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will help keep our operations running smoothly and contribute to our commitment to quality service. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on industrial equipment including HVAC systems, hydraulic machinery, pneumatic systems, and electrical components. Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, electrical blueprint reading, multimeters such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and analyze electrical diagnostics to identify faults. Conduct equipment troubleshooting for mechanical issues involving precision measuring instruments, welding (stick welding), and the use of industrial mechanic techniques. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history. Diagnose complex issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high voltage systems, and electrical systems to ensure rapid resolution. Repair or replace faulty components including motors, wiring, sensors, switches, and hydraulic or pneumatic parts while adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting schematics, electrical diagrams, and system blueprints for effective repairs. Operate scissor lifts or other aerial work platforms safely for access during maintenance tasks. Support technical sales initiatives by providing expert advice on equipment conditions and potential upgrades or repairs. Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols related to electrical maintenance, welding operations, high voltage handling, and industrial mechanics. Experience Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics and blueprints; experience with electrical diagnostics tools such as voltmeters and ammeters required. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic systems troubleshooting is essential for diagnosing operational issues effectively. Skilled in welding techniques including stick welding for repair tasks involving metal components. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with industrial electrician tasks such as high voltage handling and electrical blueprint reading. Ability to interpret schematics and engineering troubleshooting guides for complex equipment repair scenarios. Excellent analysis skills combined with the capability to perform precise measurements using specialized tools like calipers or other precision instruments. $26.40 - $65.00 per hour
