Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined person to troubleshoot and repair professional theatrical fog and haze machines at our shop in Marlboro, NJ. This is a hands-on bench technician position involving electrical troubleshooting, replacement of components and assemblies, soldering, testing, and general equipment repair. Component-level electronics repair experience is not required. We are a small, established company specializing in professional fog and haze equipment used in the entertainment industry. The position offers a friendly, low-stress work environment and flexible weekday scheduling. Duties Diagnose problems with electrical and electronic equipment Repair and replace wiring, switches, pumps, heaters, circuit boards, connectors, and other components Use a multimeter for basic electrical troubleshooting Perform basic soldering and wiring repairs Test repaired equipment to confirm proper operation Follow service manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts lists Maintain basic repair and service records Occasionally communicate with customers by phone or email regarding repairs Qualifications Basic understanding of electrical circuits and electrical troubleshooting Comfortable using a digital multimeter Basic soldering experience Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Good manual dexterity and eyesight for working with small parts and connectors Ability to read and follow service manuals, diagrams, and parts lists Basic Windows computer skills, including Word and Excel Dependable, organized, and able to work independently Good communication and customer service skills Previous electronics repair, appliance repair, audio/video repair, technical theater, electrical, or similar hands-on experience is helpful but not required. Schedule Approximately 15-20 hours per week , Monday through Friday. Scheduling is flexible and can be arranged around the right candidate's availability. Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
