We are seeking an experienced Service Technician - Injection Molding to provide technical support to customers and sales teams while assisting with the development, testing, and implementation of new products and technologies. This position combines hands-on technical service, customer support, troubleshooting, training, and field service responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the injection molding and plastics industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting customers and internal teams across North America. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical coordinator for injection molding-related activities and customer requirements. Provide technical support and guidance to customers and sales teams through written and verbal communication. Support business growth initiatives through product design, evaluation, testing, and qualification activities. Assist customers with injection molding trials, process troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving. Install, start up, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and upgrade injection molding equipment and related systems. Conduct technical training and presentations for customers, field sales teams, and internal personnel. Promote existing technologies as well as newly developed products and solutions. Assist with maintaining and updating product reference lists and technical documentation for field and internal use. Collaborate with sales, engineering, and technical teams to identify customer needs and develop effective solutions. Support product development and enhancement projects from evaluation through implementation. Travel approximately 50% throughout North America to support customers, installations, trials, training, and technical projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the injection molding industry, preferably in technical service, field service, technical sales, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge and understanding of the plastics and injection molding industry. Hands-on experience with injection molding equipment, installation, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation and customer-facing skills, with experience conducting technical meetings and training sessions. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions effectively to customers and internal teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is preferred. Valid driver's license and passport required. Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% throughout North America.
