SERVICE TECHNICIAN

This position reports to the Energy Division Operations Manager. Responsibilities include fabrication, assembly, installing, maintaining & repairing chemical storage, mixing, feed & control equipment. This job requires a high emphasis on OSHA's required safety standards. Primary Responsibilities Proper piping & piping support technics for installation of equipment. Assembly builds for pump assemblies, pump skids & control systems. Drives & controls programming. Routine maintenance to include troubleshoot & repair equipment. Interact with internal & external project managers during field projects. Extensive overnight travel required at a moment's notice. Most all work and service calls are out of town. Ability to drive a one ton truck & pull an enclosed trailer. Ability to operate a forklift. Education/Qualifications & Experience High School diploma or equivalent. Mechanical aptitude or experience. Strong work ethic with willingness to learn. Knowledge & Skills Read, speak & write legible English. Clean driving record; no moving or driving violations. Able to determine tools and equipment required to perform scope of job. Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work well under pressure. Exceptional people skills to effectively interact with customers and various levels within WTI. Strong communication skills; written & verbal. Must be willing to work in a hands-on team environment. Physical Tasks & Working Conditions There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects, climb ladders, work in confined and elevated spaces, and perform other similar actions. Must be able to work in hot and cold climates, inside and outside. Water Tech is an EOE. Pay is DOE.
