The primary focus of the position is to provide specialized technical services by travelling to various customer's sites to provide assistance in the design, installation, commissioning and successful operation of McLanahan systems and equipment. They must have the skills necessary to diagnosis, troubleshoot and make minor repairs related to mechanical, electrical and hydraulics equipment to ensure proper functioning of the design of the product and system.

Essential Functions/Key Accountabilities:

Follow direction provided by supervisor or designee. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to, and enforcing, all safety procedures and policies inside and outside the facility, including use of personal protective and McLanahan equipment as required. Represent McLanahan Corporation in a positive manner both internally and externally while adhering to the organization's core values. Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner. Be available with little to no notice, to represent Engineering, Sales and Customer Service Department in providing on-site technical service and field commissioning of equipment and systems. Participate in on site sales meetings with Sales personnel. Provide technical training to McLanahan customers and dealers related to equipment and systems. Work with Engineering to produce customer specific operation and maintenance programs for customer's systems. Participate in the assembly, testing, trouble-shooting and other functions of equipment in the manufacturing environment. Participate in installation, start-up, and trouble-shooting of equipment in the field. Work with CAD programs to review and refine drawings as needed. Prepare detailed trip reports after participating in field service activities. Utilize appropriate diagnostic equipment to effectively diagnose the issue with the product. Complete product information research utilizing the ERP system. Interpret and update engineering drawings. Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally. Education/Qualifications/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related field preferred. Familiarity with AutoCAD.

Physical Requirements:

This position is typically located in an office setting and requires sitting and standing for long periods of time and field/manufacturing work. The position requires ambulatory skills sufficient to travel domestically and internationally. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, visual acuity to use a keyboard, and operate standard office equipment and light to medium weight 10-50 pounds. Requires the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of both verbal and written communication.
