Commercial Hot-Side Equipment Service Technician Hot Job Carrollton, TX 75006 Apply Apply Description We are seeking an experienced Commercial Hot-Side Equipment Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial restaurant and food-service equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with commercial cooking equipment, strong electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide professional, courteous service in a customer-facing environment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial restaurant equipment. Service commercial ovens, fryers, ranges, and other hot-side cooking equipment. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using electrical schematics and technical documentation. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Inspect equipment, identify potential problems, and recommend appropriate repairs. Complete service calls in a timely and professional manner. Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment issues, repairs, and recommendations. Maintain a clean, professional appearance while representing the company at customer locations. Accurately document service calls, repairs, parts used, and equipment conditions. Operate company vehicles safely and maintain a clean driving record. Respond to occasional after-hours and on-call service needs. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. 3-5+ years of experience repairing commercial food-service equipment, preferably hot-side equipment. Experience working with commercial ovens, fryers, ranges, and other cooking equipment. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Professional customer-service etiquette and a presentable appearance. Intermediate computer skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. Experience with microwaves and small kitchen equipment such as slicers, blenders, and mixers is a plus.
