Job Description
Overview Able Glass is looking for an experienced Commercial Glazier to add to our team. This position will be 90+% commercial glazing and some residential when needed. The majority of this work will be done day to day in and around the Conroe/Houston area with some projects located out of town requiring over night stays. Must be able to work as a team as well as individually to meet project goals. Responsibilities Measure openings for storefront doors, frames and glass Fabricate storefront door and window frames as needed Install new storefront doors, frames and glass Service and repair existing storefront doors, frames and glass Service and install door hardware Install, repair, and replace glass in various structures including windows, doors, and storefronts. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion. Adhere to safety protocols while handling materials and operating equipment. Requirements Proven experience as a Glazier Familiarity with various types of glass and glazing materials. Familiarity with various types of storefront doors and frames Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights safely. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management A valid driver's license
