This role is responsible for carrying out maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on motor vehicles to the highest standards, within scheduled times, while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Service Technicians play a vital role in protecting customer vehicles, maintaining safety standards, controlling costs, and enhancing the reputation of Rosen Automotive Group through professionalism and quality workmanship. Completed a recognized apprenticeship or dealership-approved training program City & Guilds qualification or equivalent. Proven experience in diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing motor vehicles Manufacturer training experience preferred. Strong understanding of safe manual handling practices. Organized, methodical problem-solving approach. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Undertake ongoing training to maintain best practices and technical knowledge. Technical & Skill Activities Complete all work efficiently within manufacturer-recommended or foreman-approved timeframes. Diagnose and report vehicle faults and identify current and future servicing or repair requirements. Accurately record all work completed, including parts, components, lubricants, and consumables used. Read, understand, and apply technical service instructions and updated working practices. Carry out preventative maintenance to minimize unnecessary customer costs. Customer Relations Protect customer vehicles using appropriate covers, dust sheets, and cleaning consumables Always maintain vehicle security, including locking vehicles when unattended. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and report on condition, serviceability, and safety. Clearly explain technical repairs to customers when required.
