JOB SUMMARY

Coastline Marine is looking for a highly capable Marine Technician/Mechanic to join our team. This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who has real-world marine experience and can diagnose problems, turn a wrench, and get the job done correctly without needing to be walked through every step. Every day is different — from routine maintenance and service to diagnosing difficult mechanical and electrical problems. We're looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of figuring out what's actually wrong instead of just throwing parts at it.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING

• Outboard engines
• Yamaha / Mercury / Suzuki
• Jet boats
• Yamaha WaveRunners / Sea-Doo / personal watercraft
• Marine electrical & electronics
• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Diagnostic systems & fault-code troubleshooting
• Routine service & preventative maintenance
• Engine repairs and component replacement

WHAT WE EXPECT

You should be comfortable with: Performing routine marine services and maintenance Diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems Troubleshooting starting, charging, fuel, ignition and electrical issues Using diagnostic equipment and test equipment Working independently and efficiently Communicating professionally with customers Taking ownership of the quality of your work Your own professional tools are a plus, but not required.

COMPENSATION

Pay is based on experience, skill level, and what you bring to the table. The more you can diagnose and repair independently, the more valuable you are to us. We are building a team of high-quality technicians who want to grow with a growing company, not just filling a position.

MOBILE + SHOP WORK

Our technicians have the opportunity to work both on-site at customers' boats/jet skis and in our shop in Tarpon Springs.
