Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Marine Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of marine vessels and equipment. Your expertise will ensure that boats and marine systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on marine vessels using schematics and technical manuals Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on boats and marine equipment to ensure optimal performance Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and ohmmeters for repairs and fabrication tasks Conduct rigging, assembly, sheet metal work, welding, soldering, and heavy lifting as needed during maintenance projects Interpret technical drawings and schematics to troubleshoot complex systems accurately Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all repairs performed Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process Skills Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on marine or vehicle maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with sheet metal, fabrications, and heavy machinery Electrical experience including wiring, soldering, reading schematics, and using ohmmeters Familiarity with rigging techniques and assembly procedures on marine vessels Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, calipers, screwdrivers, and other precision instruments Ability to interpret technical schematics and diagrams accurately Experience working in a military or industrial environment is a plus but not required Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing maintenance tasks in various environments Join our team if you're passionate about marine technology and eager to deliver top-tier service!
