Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Marine Engine Technician to join an established marine service company. This position requires hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and servicing BOTH inboard and outboard marine engines. If you're an experienced marine mechanic who can confidently diagnose engine problems, perform repairs independently, and enjoy working on boats, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair inboard and outboard marine engines Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, fuel, ignition, and cooling system issues Perform engine diagnostics using diagnostic equipment Complete routine maintenance including tune-ups, lower unit service, impellers, oil changes, and winterization Read service manuals and wiring diagrams Test engines after repairs and documents completed work Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaRequirements:
- Minimum 3 years of professional marine engine repair experience
- Experience with BOTH inboard and outboard engines is
REQUIRED
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience using marine diagnostic equipment
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must pass a background check
