Duties Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles, ensuring proper fit and safety standards. Perform wheel alignments to optimize vehicle handling, tire longevity, and fuel efficiency. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic mechanical repairs. Use hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment to identify issues and execute repairs efficiently. Assist with minor mechanical repairs including brake work, suspension adjustments, and other vehicle systems. Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and manufacturer specifications. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and offering maintenance recommendations. Experience Previous dealership or automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred. Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of standard passenger car operation. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair techniques, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Familiarity with automotive fluid replacement processes such as oil changes and coolant flushes. Hands-on experience with tire service, wheel alignment procedures, and minor mechanical repairs. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
