• Join our dynamic team as a Tower Technician - III Tophand and become a vital contributor to the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication infrastructure. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies of 5G for AT&T, ensuring seamless connectivity for communities. As a skilled tophand, you will operate specialized equipment, perform high-voltage and low-voltage cabling, and execute climbing with precision. Your expertise will help build resilient networks that keep people connected and empower digital growth. This paid position is perfect for motivated professionals eager to advance their field service career in a fast-paced environment. Must have NWSA upon onboarding & be willing to adhere to our 5;1 rotation cycles. This position is paid weekly with 40$/day per diem included in your paycheck. Responsibilities Assist in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of telecommunication towers and related infrastructure Perform climbing duties safely using appropriate rigging techniques and personal protective equipment Manage cabling tasks including routing, securing, and testing low voltage and high voltage lines Execute rigging operations required for tower assembly or repairs Support field service activities such as site inspections, equipment upgrades, and emergency repairs Assist with the setup and operation of telecommunication equipment including antennas, radios, and other hardware Follow safety protocols rigorously during all climbing, bucket operation, and cabling activities Document work performed accurately in reports and logs for quality assurance and compliance purposes Requirements Proven experience working as a tower technician or in a related field service role within telecommunications or utility industries Strong climbing skills with the ability to ascend towers safely using appropriate gear Proficiency in elevated work tasks Knowledge of high voltage (HV) systems as well as low voltage (LV) cabling techniques Skilled in rigging operations for lifting heavy components securely during installation or maintenance Familiarity with telecommunication infrastructure components such as antennas, cabling, grounding systems, and radio equipment Physical capability to perform demanding field service activities including lifting heavy materials and working at heights for extended periods Valid certification in climbing safety standards & certifications related rigging Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail during inspections or troubleshooting procedures Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to building reliable communication networks!
