Commercial Construction Flagger Work Environment:

Outdoor commercial construction sites Job Responsibilities As a Construction Flagger, you will help control and direct traffic around active construction zones. Responsibilities may include using hand signals, flags, and other traffic-control equipment to safely direct vehicles and pedestrians. You will communicate with construction crews, monitor traffic conditions, and help maintain a safe work area for employees, drivers, and the public. Flaggers are expected to remain alert and focused throughout the workday, follow all company and job-site safety procedures, and communicate clearly with supervisors and other members of the construction team. The ability to work in changing outdoor weather conditions is also important. Requirements Must have a reliable vehicle and dependable transportation Must be able to pass a background check Must be dependable and arrive on time for scheduled shifts Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods Must follow safety rules and instructions Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors Previous flagging, traffic control, or construction experience is a plus, but not required Must have valid non-expired flagger certification Why Join Our Team?
