Position Summary We are seeking motivated, reliable general laborers for a short-term, 2-3 week road sealing and asphalt maintenance project. As part of our road sealing crew, you will assist with preparing pavement surfaces, applying sealants, spreading aggregate, and maintaining traffic control to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities Surface Preparation:

Sweep, power-blow, and clean road surfaces to clear dirt, gravel, and debris prior to liquid application.

Material & Equipment Support:

Assist operators with laying down liquid asphalt emulsion and spreading stone aggregate/chips evenly across the road surface.

Crack & Edge Work:

Use manual tools (squeegees, shovels, brooms) to seal cracks, edges, and hard-to-reach areas.

Traffic Control:

Set up traffic cones, signage, and perform flagger duties to safely guide vehicles through work zones.

Site Cleanup:

Clear excess loose gravel, pack up equipment, and ensure the work area is left safe and clean at the end of each day.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Prior experience in road construction, paving, sealcoating, or general physical labor is preferred, but willing to train reliable candidates.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive manual tasks outdoors in hot weather conditions.

Reliability:

Punctual with dependable transportation to and from the job site or staging yard daily.

Safety Mindset:

Willingness to follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and safety protocols in active traffic zones.

Pay:
