Pay:

$20 - $22 per hour, depending on experience

Work Arrangement:

Field-based, outdoor work with travel throughout Texas ARS is seeking an entry-level SUE Field Technician. No previous SUE or utility experience is required. This is a hands-on, learn-as-you-go position with all training provided on the job. The Field Technician will work as part of a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) field crew to help locate, investigate, and document underground utilities. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable taking direction from experienced crew members. Qualifications and Requirements Valid Texas driver's license Excellent driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Dependable Willingness to learn, take direction, ask questions, and receive feedback Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Willingness to travel throughout Texas, approximately 50% of the time Essential Duties and Responsibilities Learn SUE field procedures and utility investigation methods Learn to safely use field equipment and tools Follow crew leader instructions and established safety procedures Assist with maintaining equipment and keeping work areas organized Follow ARS quality-control and safety standards About ARS ARS Engineers, Inc. was founded by Ayub Rehmat Sandhu, who started the company in 1984 to build a better future for the next generation.
