About theRole:
The Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of all plant and facility equipment within the organization. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing maintenance strategies including predictive and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. The Maintenance Manager leads a team of technicians and maintenance staff, coordinating daily activities to meet production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards. They collaborate closely with plant management and other departments to optimize maintenance processes and support lean manufacturing initiatives. Ultimately, the role ensures that all electrical systems, boilers, and other critical infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards, supporting the overall operational excellence of the enterprise.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proven knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques and best practices. Strong understanding of electrical systems, boilers, and facility maintenance requirements. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and plant management.Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Maintenance Management or Reliability Engineering (e.g., CMRP). Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Advanced training in electrical systems or boiler operation and maintenance. Demonstrated success in leading continuous improvement initiatives within a plant setting. Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA and NFPA.Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans including predictive and preventive maintenance schedules. Supervise and lead maintenance teams to ensure timely and effective repair and upkeep of plant equipment and facilities. Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and prevent unexpected failures. Coordinate with plant management and production teams to align maintenance activities with operational requirements and lean manufacturing principles. Manage maintenance budgets, procurement of parts and services, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Oversee the maintenance of electrical systems, boilers, and other critical infrastructure to ensure reliability and safety. Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance technical skills and promote a culture of continuous improvement.Skills:
