$60,000.00 To $66,000.00 Annually + Quarterly bonus potential

About the
Role:
The Director of Sales at Honey Creek Resort plays a pivotal role in driving the overall revenue growth and market presence of the resort within the competitive hospitality industry. This leadership position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies that align with the resort's business objectives and enhance customer acquisition and retention. The role requires close collaboration with marketing, operations, and guest services teams to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience. The Director of Sales will lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets while fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Ultimately, this position is instrumental in positioning Honey Creek Resort as a premier destination, maximizing profitability, and sustaining long-term business success.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality or resort industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong knowledge of sales principles, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and sales analytics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration or related discipline. Experience working in a resort or luxury hospitality environment. Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and social media platforms. Certification in sales management or hospitality sales (e.g., Certified Hospitality Sales Professional). Proficiency with advanced CRM software and data analysis tools.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals and expand market share. Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed individual and collective sales targets. Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key partners. Collaborate with marketing and operations departments to create integrated campaigns and ensure alignment of sales initiatives with overall resort offerings. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management. Manage budgets, contracts, and negotiations to optimize profitability and client satisfaction. Represent Honey Creek Resort at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.
