Maintenance Mechanic Leader

This position of Maintenance Mechanic Leader is located at the Cincinnati, OH VA Medical Center in the Engineering Service.

Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards .

Note :

A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

The incumbent must exert moderate to arduous physical effort involving working, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, and crawling while performing his/her duties. He/she must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding. He/she must be capable of climbing over and under equipment, working in confined spaces, crawl spaces, and other isolated areas. The incumbent must be able to work for extended periods in uncomfortable positions and conditions. He/she must be able to lift loads of up to 40 pounds unassisted.
