Morning, Afternoon, and Night shifts available About the Role We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our property operations team. You will be responsible for maintaining the safety, comfort, and functionality of our facility — from guest rooms and common areas to back-of-house systems. The ideal candidate brings hands-on hotel maintenance experience, strong plumbing knowledge, and a proactive attitude toward preventive care and rapid repairs. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including fixtures, drains, water heaters, and supply lines Perform routine maintenance and repairs on guest rooms, suites, and public areas Handle basic electrical, HVAC, and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs Perform carpentry, drywall patching, painting, and cosmetic touch-ups Complete work orders accurately and on time using the property maintenance system Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls at any hour of shift Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety codes and standards Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk to minimize guest disruption Qualifications 2+ years of plumbing experience (residential or commercial) Prior hotel or hospitality maintenance experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems Ability to read blueprints and maintenance manuals Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Valid driver's license preferred Able to lift 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods Comfortable working morning, afternoon, or night shifts Nice to have Experience with property management work-order software Bilingual (English / Spanish) Trade Certifications (plumbing, HVAC, electrical) Pool maintenance or spa systems experience What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Flexible scheduling options Opportunity for growth within the company Stable, team-oriented work environment
