Managing Technician

The AV Managing Technician position is a hybrid role, requiring both technical production experience as well as client service abilities. The right candidate will be able to perform basic AV sets/strikes, setup and oversee hybrid/livestream sessions and effectively communicate & interface with clients, presenters, and hotel/venue staff. The Managing Technician will provide an onsite presence at numerous properties in Western Ventura County, as needs dictate. Salary is commensurate with experience & expertise.

ASAP Responsibilities

• Manage all event logistics at the venue level
• Set/operate/strike basic AV sessions
• Manage production crews during sets, strikes and execution of larger events
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Attend venue site visits with clients Requirements
• Experience setting/striking/basic trouble shooting of AV equipment
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Must be able to be on the move for several hours
• Must be able to sit for several hours
