Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Builder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in woodworking, cabinetry, and related construction trades, with a strong focus on precision craftsmanship. This role involves building custom cabinets according to specifications, utilizing various tools and techniques to ensure high-quality results. Candidates with a background in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and fabrication are highly encouraged to apply. Duties Construct custom cabinets from raw materials following detailed blueprints and schematics Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinet components using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans Perform precise trimming, fitting, and finishing of cabinetry components Operate CNC machinery for fabrication processes when applicable Ensure all cabinetry meets quality standards and client specifications Assist with related tasks such as fixture installation, door hanging, and hardware setup Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring heavy lifting or specialized fabrication techniques Qualifications Proven experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or related construction trades Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and fabrication equipment Experience with trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, or remodeling projects is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and industry standards Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision craftsmanship Prior experience in restoration industry work or water damage restoration is advantageous Familiarity with plumbing, electrical work, masonry, or roofing can be beneficial but is not required Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This position is integral to delivering high-quality custom cabinetry solutions for our clients.
