Job Description
How would you like to work independently to help provide housing for older adults? As a valued member of The Towers at Tower Lane's Maintenance Team, our Apartment Readiness Technicians help our community turn over vacant apartments. We provide the tools and materials; you provide the knowledge and labor. We can train the right candidate and offer competitive pay (with a pay raise after your 180 day introductory period) and we have an amazing fringe benefit and time off structure. To be successful in this role basic knowledge of painting, wall repair, plumbing fixture installation, basic carpentry, lighting fixture installation, vinyl plank flooring and carpet tile installation, cabinet installation and other basic trade knowledge is preferred, but we can train the right candidate. Minimum Training and Experience High School Diploma, GED, Trade School, or Vocational School degree. 3 years' experience in performing general maintenance and repairs is preferred but not a requirement. Experience in an older adult housing or assisted living/skilled nursing is a plus.
