Senior AutoCAD Draftsman / Cabinet Vision Designer Luxury Custom Millwork

Job Description

A well-established luxury custom millwork company in Miami Lakes, Florida is seeking an experienced Senior AutoCAD Draftsman / Cabinet Vision Designer to join our growing team. We specialize in high-end residential and commercial millwork, including custom kitchens, closets, vanities, wall paneling, built-ins, doors, and architectural millwork. Our projects are built to the highest standards of craftsmanship and require precision, attention to detail, and strong technical expertise. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in custom cabinetry and architectural millwork, is highly proficient in AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision, and can develop accurate shop drawings ready for manufacturing. Responsibilities Prepare detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision. Develop complete production drawings for custom cabinetry and architectural millwork. Generate CNC-ready manufacturing files. Create cut lists, material lists, and machining information. Produce 3D renderings and presentation views when required. Interpret architectural plans, interior design drawings, and field measurements. Coordinate with project managers, production staff, and installers to resolve technical details. Maintain organized project files and revision history. Ensure all drawings meet manufacturing standards and quality requirements. Support production by providing accurate and timely technical documentation. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience drafting custom cabinetry or architectural millwork. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD. Strong experience with Cabinet Vision (Hexagon). Experience creating CNC-ready production files. Thorough understanding of cabinet construction, woodworking techniques, hardware, and materials. Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design plans. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Experience with any of the following is considered a plus: Mozaik SketchUp V-Ray EnRoute Alphacam Aspire CNC programming 3D rendering software High-end residential millwork Metric system Bilingual English/Spanish What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience.
