Experienced Custom Cabinetmaker / Millwork Craftsman The Material Reserve Bogart, GA Job Details Full-time $17 - $49 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Fabrication Attention to detail Millwork Manufacturing Full Job Description The Material Reserve is looking for an experienced Custom Cabinetmaker / Millwork Craftsman to join our growing fabrication team in Bogart, Georgia. This is a hands-on shop position for someone with real cabinetmaking and woodworking experience. You'll be building high-end custom cabinetry, built-ins, furniture, vanities, architectural millwork, and specialty woodworking from detailed drawings and project specifications. We're looking for someone who understands quality cabinet construction, can work accurately and efficiently, and takes pride in producing clean, precise work. What You'll Be Doing Build custom cabinetry, built-ins, furniture, and architectural millwork Read and work from shop drawings, plans, dimensions, and specifications Cut, machine, assemble, and prepare cabinet and millwork components Work with hardwoods, plywood, veneers, sheet goods, and specialty materials Install and adjust cabinet hardware, drawer systems, hinges, and related components Operate professional woodworking machinery and hand tools Assist with CNC operation and machining when needed Maintain accurate dimensions, reveals, joints, fit, and finish Identify and solve fabrication or assembly issues Coordinate with project managers, designers, and other shop team members Keep projects moving efficiently and meet production deadlines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment What We're Looking For 2+ years of professional cabinetmaking, custom woodworking, furniture making, or architectural millwork experience Strong knowledge of cabinet construction and woodworking methods Ability to accurately read shop drawings and measurements Experience with woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently without constant supervision Dependable and able to consistently meet production expectations Good problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work well as part of a small production team Preferred Experience CNC woodworking equipment CAD/CAM or cabinet manufacturing software Custom furniture fabrication Architectural millwork High-end residential cabinetry Cabinet hardware and specialty installation systems Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to approximately 50 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to bend, kneel, reach, lift, and perform hands-on fabrication work Comfortable working around woodworking machinery, sawdust, lumber, and manufacturing equipment Why Work With The Material Reserve?
