In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinetry and woodwork, interpreting detailed blueprints, and ensuring precise fabrication and installation. Your expertise will contribute to creating functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces in residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately fabricate cabinets and wood components. Use hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines to cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinetry pieces. Measure spaces precisely to ensure proper fitment of cabinets, fixtures, doors, and trim. Install cabinets, doors, moldings, siding, flooring, and other woodwork with attention to detail and safety standards. Perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or bulky materials; utilize proper techniques for lifting and moving heavy items. Conduct quality inspections throughout fabrication and installation processes to ensure craftsmanship meets specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to power tool safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in cabinet making, carpentry, or woodworking within residential or restoration industries. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and construction plans. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, metal stud framing tools, and fixture installation equipment. Familiarity with construction site experience including framing, stucco application, rebar installation, roofing, siding, plastering, caulking, water damage restoration, mold remediation, flooring installation, and reinstallation of fixtures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physically capable of handling demanding tasks on-site. Excellent understanding of power tool safety practices; committed to maintaining a safe work environment at all times. Additional skills such as drywall hanging (including door hanging), fabricating with metal studs or wood materials, restoration work experience including water damage or mold remediation are advantageous.
